Chase Day 2

I was able to feed him today. He ate a whole 1/2 ounce! Whooo!

A little perspective.

We just thought this was adorable.

My mom said this looked like "a pretend binky from a party store."

I think he is so handsome, but I am a little biased.

Chase is doing really well. His breathing is pretty much under control and he is beginning to eat a little. Today we signed the paper work and it went really smooth. We just feel so blessed. He is a beautiful baby, we love him and we cannot wait to bring him home.


PS- I will write his miracle story when I have a little more time and am not so sleep deprived.

Chase Brown

Little Chase Courtney Brown was born on Thursday June 26, 2008 at 11:33 am. He is a little guy at 4 lbs 9 oz and 18 inches. He is doing pretty good right now. He will probably be in the hospital for a few extra days as he gains a little weight.

For those of you wondering, his birth father's name is "Courtney" as well as his mother's. This was too big of a coincidence and it was also a special request from his birth mother

Reality TV Junkie

It is 2:30 in the afternoon on a weekday. This is the blissful hour known as "nap time" or to Bella, "sometimes nap and sometimes play in my room while my mom recoups." There are many things I should do, the dishes, laundry, plant flowers, work on business stuff, but no, I think I will go in my room and watch "The Bachelor" reruns VH1 has been playing all week. It does not matter that I have already seen every Bachelor episode ever aired. I am going to watch them again. Currently, I am going to enjoy funny bachelor, Bob Guiney. I already know who won. I already know that the he and Estella did not stay together. That is not really the point. I still thoroughly enjoy every episode. I think the point may be that....my obsession with reality tv has taken me to a new low. Professional help may be required...but anyways, the tv awaits.
